Which version should I download for Windows, macOS, or Linux?
Select the version that matches the operating system of the computer where you will run the software. The operating system of the affected drive may be different, provided its file system is supported by the selected product.

Should I download the installation file or the portable version?
Choose the installation file for regular use on your computer. Choose the portable version to run the program without installation, for example from a USB drive. Never place either version on the storage device from which you need to recover data.

Will I need to scan the drive again after purchasing a license?
No. You can activate the trial version after the scan and continue working with the existing results without scanning the drive again.

What should I do immediately after discovering data loss?
Stop using the affected storage device whenever possible. New files, updates, downloads, or system activity may overwrite recoverable data and reduce the chances of successful recovery.

Can I download the software on one computer and recover data from another?
Yes. You can download the installer on another computer and transfer it to the recovery computer. Do not copy the installer to the affected storage device.
